Hub - Switch

When the hub receives an information it sends it "everywhere", whereas the switch which receives information redirects it only to the right recipient ...
So a hub has the same functions as a switch but the switch is much more powerful!

A router is like a switch except that there is a port on which you plug a modem to share an internet connection to PCs network!
